Getting started

How do I create or import a script?

Create a script in the Scripts tab, paste text from the clipboard, or choose a supported file from Apple's Files picker. Imported text is saved locally in the App.

Why can't I open the recording studio?

The studio needs Camera and Microphone access. Open iPhone Settings, select Teleprompter, enable those permissions, and reopen the studio.

What are the Free limits?

Free use supports scripts of up to 300 words and recordings of up to 3 minutes per take at 1080p and 30 fps, with no watermark. Pro removes these limits and unlocks additional supported features.

Voice Follow

What is Voice Follow?

Voice Follow uses Apple's on-device speech technology to keep the prompt aligned with what you are saying. Your script, live transcript, and microphone audio are not uploaded to our servers.

Why does Voice Follow say it is unavailable?

Voice Follow requires iOS 26 or later and a supported on-device speech model. iOS may need to download the model before first use. Keep the App open and try again on a stable connection. Fixed Speed remains available.

Recordings, Photos, and storage

Where are my files stored?

Scripts, settings, and App-local recording originals are stored inside Teleprompter on your iPhone. Saving to Photos creates a separate copy.

Why did recording stop unexpectedly?

Low storage, overheating, an incoming call, another app using the camera or microphone, backgrounding, or an iOS interruption can stop recording. The App attempts recovery when possible, but recovery is not guaranteed.

What happens if I delete the App?

Removing Teleprompter deletes its App-local scripts, settings, and recordings. Separate copies in Photos remain. Export important recordings before deleting the App.

Pro purchases and subscriptions

What purchase options are available?

The App may offer Monthly Pro, Annual Pro, and a one-time Lifetime Pro purchase. The App Store shows the current localized price and availability before confirmation.

How does the free trial work?

When Apple offers it, the trial applies under the terms displayed on the App Store purchase sheet. If a trial is not shown by Apple, it is not available for that purchase.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, and select Teleprompter. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

How do I request a refund?

Apple controls App Store billing and refunds. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and use the Apple Account that made the purchase.
